One has to aknowledge that most of the other newspapers (Some 15 or more) who carefully read our communiqué righfully titled that there are two possible dates and that the issue of choosing the adequate one wasn't an astronomical problem as we emphatically stated but of choosing the jurisprudential point of view by the Crescent Committee.

Again we emphasize strongly that thes Sirius statements is not based ona personal point of view but is always based on the consensus of the Astroomical community. We mention in particular the ICOP project which is is a one of the most authoritative institution on the crescent and calendar issues.
