The 16th Edition of the National Festival in Popular Astronomy
Year after year since 2001, the National Festivals in Popular Astronomy are held for the benefit of the general public. The subject for this edition is "The Vibrating Universe". Not only will it discuss the recently discovered gravitational waves and its tremendous potential for future discoveries, but also the oscillating messengers like electromagnetic waves (namely light) and even neutrinos (In flavor) etc. Then the pulsating Sun, Cepheids, stars... Other topics including space sciences will be dealt with. There will also be an Astronomy and Space Fair, lectures, workshops. All these activities have made this Festival throughout the years a much sought astronomical rendez- vous in the region...
    
La 16eme Edition du Festival National d'Astronomie Populaire
Pour la seizième fois depuis 2001, Sirius organise ce Festival d'Astronomie Populaire à Constantine. Le thème cette année est "Un Univers tout en vibration", un clin d'oeil à la découverte récente des ondes gravitationnelles, mais aussi plus traditonellement des oscillations du Soleil, des cepheides, des pulsars... Ce grand rassemblement a acquis au fil des ans ses lettres de noblesse et est devenu le rendez-vous annuel majeur pour les amateurs Algériens et ceux de la région.
