L’Association Sirius d’Astronomie tient à travers ce communiqué à informer le public des données astronomiques relatives à la nouvelle Lune du mois de Ramadhan 1447h qui détermine le début du mois du jeûne. Nous précisons que seul le Comité des Croissants Lunaires du Ministère des Affaires Religieuses est habilité à émettre la fatwa sur la date effective du début du Ramadhan.
Naissance du croissant lunaire de Ramadan le vendredi 17 février 2026
La Nuit du Doute, correspondant au 29 Chaâbane 1447 h, a été fixée au vendredi 17 février 2026 par le Ministère des Affaires Religieuses. L’instant de la conjonction du croissant lunaire marquant le début du mois de Ramadan 144 7 h se produira le mardi 17 février à 13h01 (heure locale).
Notons qu’au moment de cette conjonction se produira également une éclipse solaire annulaire centrale, toutefois, ce phénomène ne sera pas visible depuis notre région.
Cependant, l’âge du croissant lunaire au moment du coucher du Soleil ce même soir ne sera pas suffisant pour permettre son observation à l’œil nu depuis notre région. À Alger, le croissant demeurera au-dessus de l’horizon pendant environ six minutes seulement après le coucher du Soleil et complètement invisible pour a courte période de temps qui retsera au desus de l'horizon.
Notons que malgré que la Lune sera au-dessus de l’horizon lors du coucher du Soleil, le croissant ne sera pas formé et donc invisible même dans les meilleures conditions d’observation. Il est donc patent qu’astronomiquement parlant, nous devrions compléter le Chaabane à 30 jours et débuter le mois de Ramadhan le jeudi 19 février sur la base de l’observation visuelle directe stricte du croissant.
Précisons que cette rigoureuse impossibilité d’observer le croissant lunaire ce mardi 17 février s’étend à tout le Monde Arabe et le continent Africain (et cela même au télescope) de même que des deux Amériques. Son observation à l’œil nu ne sera possible qu’à partir d’une région située bien à l’Ouest du continent Nord-Américain, Et donc son observation éventuelle n’est pas pertinente pour nous).

Toutes ces informations sont en parfaite adéquation avec les données scientifiques fournies par les institutions astronomiques internationales, concernant la conjonction lunaire et la visibilité du croissant. Elles sont notamment confirmées par les observations réalisées par divers observatoires et centres de recherche, notamment par l’ICOP, faisant autorité en matière d’observation des croissants lunaires.
L’Association Sirius d’Astronomie tient à rappeler que l’unique autorité habilitée à émettre une fatwa sur le début du mois de Ramadan est la Commission du Croissant Lunaire relevant du Ministère des Affaires Religieuses.

بلاغ حول هلال رمضان 1447ه

تودّ جمعية الشعرى لعلم الفلك إخبار الجمهور الكريم بجملة من المعطيات الفلكية المتعلقة بهلال شهر رمضان المبارك لعام 1447هـ، وما يمكن استنتاجه علميًا بخصوص بداية شهر الصيام .
ولادة هلال رمضان يوم الثلاثاء 17 فيفري 2026
حددت وزارة الشؤون الدينية ليلة الشك الموافقة لـ 29 شعبان 1447هـ بيوم الثلاثاء 17 فيفري 2026 . أما اقتران هلال شهر رمضان 1447هـ فسيحدث يوم الثلاثاء 17 فيفري على الساعة 13:01 حسب التوقيت المحلي .غير أنّ عمر الهلال عند غروب الشمس في ذلك المساء لن يكون كافيًا لتمكين رؤيته بالعين المجردة من منطقتنا، وذلك وفقًا لجميع المعايير الفلكية المعتمدة. وسيبقى القمر فوق الأفق في مدينة الجزائر لمدة تقارب ست دقائق فقط بعد غروب الشمس. ونشير إلى أنه تزامنًا مع زالاقتران سيحدث أيضًا كسوف شمسي حلقي مركزي، غير أن هذه الظاهرة لن تكون مرئية من منطقتنا.
ورغم أن القمر سيكون فوق الأفق وقت الغروب، إلا أنّ الهلال لن يكون قد تشكّل بعد بالقدر الذي يسمح برصده، وبالتالي سيكون غير مرئي حتى في أفضل ظروف الرصد، وعليه، فإنه من الناحية الفلكية البحتة، يُستنتج استكمال شهر شعبان ثلاثين يومًا، ليكون يوم الخميس 19 فيفري 2026 هو أول أيام شهر رمضان المبارك، وذلك على أساس الرؤية البصرية المباشرة للهلال .
مدى إمكانية الرؤية في العالم
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن استحالة رؤية الهلال مساء الثلاثاء 17 فيفري تمتد إلى كامل الوطن العربي والقارة الإفريقية، بل وحتى قارتي أمريكا الشمالية والجنوبية، وذلك حتى باستعمال التلسكوبات .
أما إمكانية رؤيته بالعين المجردة فلن تتحقق إلا في مناطق تقع أقصى غرب القارة الأمريكية الشمالية، وهو ما يجعل تلك الرؤية – إن حدثت – غير ذات صلة بالنسبة لبلادنا من الناحية الفقهية المعتمدة محليًا .
كما تتطابق هذه النتائج تمامًا مع البيانات العلمية الصادرة عن الهيئات والمؤسسات الفلكية الدولية المختصة بحساب الاقتران وإمكانية رؤية الهلال، كما تؤكدها حسابات ومشاهدات عدد من المراصد والمراكز البحثية العالمية، ومن بينها الهيئة الدولية لرصد الأهلة (ICOP) ذات المرجعية في هذا المجال .
وتؤكد جمعية الشعرى لعلم الفلك أن الجهة الوحيدة المخوّلة لإصدار الفتوى بشأن بداية شهر رمضان المبارك هي لجنة الأهلة التابعة لوزارة الشؤون الدينية .

Faintly gleams a new-born crescent to the seekers of the light ;
Who will see that early portent, on this pristine August night ?
Month by month, through countless ages, man has sought the Moon’s rebirth ;
Month by month her cycle guides us, on an ever-changing Earth .
On each continent and island, watchers of the crescent blend ,
On a planet without borders, hope and vision without end .
“Sing the wide-winged Moon!” cried Homer, watching from his distant sky ;
“Soothingly thy smile,” wrote Goethe, “spreadest round me, far and nigh .”
Watchers of the sky, all poets, may you wax and never wane ,
Young in heart as this new crescent, every month a steady gain ;
All you Watchers Without Borders, may your crescent shine tonight ;
May it touch with truth and beauty your long battle for the light .

Ramadan, for observant Muslims, is a time of fasting, prayer and charitable giving. Here is a beautiful poem about Ramadhan, by Rumi, a 13th-century Persian poet and mystic:
O moon-faced Beloved,
the month of Ramadan has arrived
Cover the table
and open the path of praise.
O fickle busybody,
it’s time to change your ways.
Can you see the one who’s selling the halvah
how long will it be the halvah you desire?
Just a glimpse of the halvah-maker
has made you so sweet even honey says,
“I’ll put myself beneath your feet, like soil;
