Fully packed auditorium for the final show: One of the largest gathering of students and Faculty members at any IYL2015 event in Algeria! Several thousands of them participated to the indoor program or visited the two exhibits. It coincided with the start of the second semester so that the students were more or less roaming freely around and enjoyed the rich program. |
The official opening of the event by Prof. S.Chekroud, Vice President of the University in charge of the scientific research (In the middle) and Prof.S.Rhouati, Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences (At left). |

Wing A of the "Cosmic Symphonia" exhibit of Sirius in front of the main auditorium. Wing B with 15 large mobile posters on light and applications (Nanotechnology biological microstructures,...) was situated next to the "Caravan of Light" display, at the main student hall of the Humanities building. Notice the form of the auditorium as a double winged structure as conceived by the world famous Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer (Died at age 102 in 2012). |
