The 21st Edition of the National Festival in Popular Astronomy
Continuing a proud tradition that began in 2001, the National Festival of Popular Astronomy returns for its 21st Edition. This year, the festival invites the public and the scientific community to peer into the heart of the cosmos with our special theme: "The Nebulae: Cosmic Stellar Nurseries."
Held in close collaboration with the Scientific Mediation Unit of CERIST, this edition will highlights the vital role these breathtaking celestial clouds play in the birth of stars and the very evolution of galaxies. As usual, the 2026 festival will witness a wide international participation, bringing together prestigious associations and renowned astronomers from Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. The three-day event offers a dazzling array of activities designed to inspire and educate, an immersive Astronomy exhibition, a series of lectures and hands-on workshops led by experts. This in addition to evening sky-watching sessions. The Festival is held under the high patronage of the Wali of Constantine and is organized in collaborative partnership with the APC, the APW, the DJS, and the Direction of Culture of Constantine.

La 21eme Edition du Festival National d'Astronomie Populaire
Poursuivant une fière tradition entamée en 2001, le Festival national de l’astronomie populaire revient pour sa 21ᵉ édition. Cette année, le festival invite le grand public et la communauté scientifique à plonger au cœur du cosmos à travers notre thème spécial : « Les nébuleuses : berceaux stellaires du cosmos ». Organisée en étroite collaboration avec l’Unité de :édiation scientifique du CERIST, cette édition mettra en lumière le rôle essentiel que jouent ces nuages célestes spectaculaires dans la naissance des étoiles et l’évolution même des galaxies. Comme à l’accoutumée, l’édition 2026 connaîtra une large participation internationale, réunissant des associations prestigieuses ainsi que des personnalités astronomiques d’Afrique, du Moyen-Orient et d’Europe. Cet événement de trois jours proposera un riche programme d’activités destiné à inspirer et à instruire : une exposition immersive d’astronomie, une série de conférences et d’ateliers pratiques animés par des experts, ainsi que des séances d’observation du ciel en soirée. Le Festival est placé sous le haut patronage du Wali de Constantine et organisé en partenariat avec l’APC, l’APW, la DJS et la Direction de la Culture de Constantine.
