Measuring Earth's diameter 2200 years after the Alexandrian scholar, that's what hundreds of kids and adults alike did from Constantine in coordination with the Astronomy section at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina . The El-Bayadh Training Workshop : 2-4 April -2013
A five member strong Sirius team visited this Western Wilaya in t he semi-desertic region of our country at the invitation of the APW and the Youth Directorate there (DJS). It was about training animators of the Wilaya in amateur astronomy as well as delivering public lectures. The program was a sounding success .. More soon. |

A strong dedicated group of Sirusiens have started in earnest bringing Astronomy to the High Schools and Middle Schools of the Constantine area. The Canary Islands Trip for the Laureates of Cirta Science 4 : 09 -14 0ct - 2012
